Fact-Checking Policy

Every article on LatinoWealth is checked against its source material before it is published. This page describes what that check covers.

    What gets verified

    • Names of people, companies, funds and agencies, and their spellings and titles
    • Dollar figures, percentages, dates and locations
    • Whether a claim is attributed to the party that actually made it
    • That every source link resolves to the material it is cited for

    Source hierarchy

Primary sources come first: government data releases, regulatory filings, court records, company announcements and published research. Secondary reporting from established outlets is used when it is the only available account, and is credited by name.

    Unverified claims

If a figure cannot be traced to a credible source, we omit it. We do not estimate, round up, or repeat widely circulated numbers whose origin we cannot identify.

    Reader challenges

Readers can challenge any fact on the site by emailing info@latinowealth.com. Confirmed errors are handled under the corrections policy.
