Latino Economic Research and Data

This hub is where LatinoWealth covers data rather than events: government statistics, academic studies, central bank surveys and industry research on Latino economic activity in the United States.

The sources we prioritize are primary. The U.S. Census Bureau's business and population surveys, the Federal Reserve's Survey of Consumer Finances, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Small Business Administration and university research centers publish the underlying numbers that most secondary coverage paraphrases — often inaccurately. We link to the original release whenever we cite it.

Research coverage here explains methodology as well as findings: what was measured, over what period, with what sample, and what the study does not establish. A figure repeated without that context is how misinformation about Latino economic power spreads in both directions — understated and overstated.

LatinoWealth does not publish original statistics it has not sourced, and does not estimate figures that no institution has measured.
